I have a nighthawk carbon monoxide detector, I have no idea what those digital numbers are for? - nighthawk alarm

I was in today's kitchen and I notice that the number increased to 9, but the alarm will not shut down. I just want to know about these figures, I have no idea how the numbers go. Thank you for your help.
